Electrolysis
Electrolysis has been recognised since 1800's and was originally used to permanently remove ingrown eyelashes.
Electrolysis is a safe reliable method and is the only form of permanent hair removal and is suitable for treating all skin tones and hair types
It gives the most effective results for permanent hair removal and is recognised by the medical profession.
Perfect You is controlled and licensed by the local Government and Environmental Health Services.
How does Electrolysis work?
A small metal probe, which is very fine and sterile, is inserted into the hair follicle along side the hair. A small amount of electrical current is then discharged into the hair follicle, where you would feel a sensation of heat. The electrical current destroys the hair root either by heat or chemical and blend.
Thermolysis (Heat)
Galvanic (Chemical)
Blend (Both blended together)
All these methods are safe and effective and the electrolysis will use what is suited to you.
All probes are disposed of at the end of the treatment.

How many sessions will be needed to achieve permanency?
The duration of the process varies for each individual, and no specific timeframe can be provided. Success depends on consistent attendance at scheduled sessions. While many hairs will be permanently removed after the first treatment, some will require additional sessions. However , the need for treatment will gradually decrease over time and you will see and feel the difference as your treatment progresses.

What areas of the body can you use Electrolysis?
Electrolysis can be used on almost any part of the body where unwanted hair grows.
Common treatment areas include:
Face (upper lip, chin, cheeks, sideburns, eyebrows), Neck, Arms and underarms, Chest, breasts and nipples, Abdomen
Back and shoulders, Bikini and Legs, Hands, feet, toes and fingers.
Since Electrolysis is safe for all skin and hair types, it's an effective option for permanent hair removal on both small and large areas.

Is Electrolysis painful?
The level of discomfort experienced during Electrolysis varies form person to person and depends on fators such as pain tolerance, machine settings and the method used. Most people feel a distinct sensation during treatment, often described as a slight heat, tingling or a mild stinging.
